I think you are asking what is the All Freshman team, not a bad Freshman team, it would be perfect if you had a JV Team:

PJ Hardy--True Freshman coming off the bench averaging 7.5 points in 19.4 MPG
Justin Miller--True Freshman from a Prep School starter averaging 10.5 points in 22 MPG
Kadavion Evans--Redshirt Freshman just coming back from injury, might be the most talented once he comes back 100%
Jekerius Davis--Redshirt Freshman coming off the bench with averaging 4.5 points in 11 MPG
Roydell Brown--True Freshman starter averaging 4.8 Points in 14 MPG

The other Freshman on the roster are both walkons
    Mason Aucoin--Limited minutes
    Jordan Adebetu--Redshirting this year

When this team is playing its best, he has the ball in his hands doing that and finding open guys. The game last night and against Tech are tributes to this. He's not a great shooter although he is competent but his strength is his speed with the ball and the ability to get by his defender to create drive and dish opportunities. I do agree that Jay has had the tendency to keep the ball too long and not move it like is should but has been better about it this year. The UNO game was not his best in that regard.

I think this is why you are seeing Bartley play the SG and run off some screens this year to free him up.
You are correct, JW is not a 2 guard, he is much closer to a Combo Guard, meaning he can play both the 1 and 2, but his natural position is much closer to a 1. The advantage to a Combo Guard is that he gives you a scoring threat, like JW does, the disadvantage is that he is not a true PG that can make things happen by passing, don't get me wrong, he is a capable passer, just not natural like an Aaron Mitchell type. I think Michael Allen was more of a Combo Guard that played the point for us as well, but I believe even though he was a combo guy, he was better playing the 2, than the 1.

We'll definitely be experienced team next year with Washington, Stove, Bartley, and Stalcup as seniors and juniors Stroman, Marquetti, Gant, and Plaisance. That doesn't even consider the current freshmen class who will be getting a lot of playing time this year. We may have to go with a 12-13 man rotation next or redshirst some current members.

But he does make things happen by passing. That is where our offense is the best.

He does, and I wish he would do more of it. He is a dangerous when he does, I think mostly because teams are not expecting that, they are expecting him to drive and shoot or shoot jumpers. What makes him the most dangerous is when he passes rather than shoots because it catches opponents off guard. That is why I said he is much more of a Combo Guard than a true 1 or 2. But resembles a 1 more than a 2.
