Damned, thought we were talking about football season tickets! Oh well, back to RCAF complaints. I must say, I feel totally uncomfortable in the in the cheerleader role!😉

Southern Miss averaged 3126 in a 6600 capacity park (though pretty sure that includes SRO.) Not the same situation as us

Who do you buy your fuel from?

Had been Duhon Brothers in Abbeville. Switched things up by converting water well to electric. Significant savings

Just got e-mail from athletic department... 2018 season tickets require RCAF membership at LOWEST level.

OK - let me get this straight - so we are arguing - and people are losing their minds - about a $100 donation/year for the right to purchase tickets. Or 27 CENTS per day. For ANY amount of tickets.

This should and I'm guessing eventually will be a requirement for all sports.

    What's the commotion? Serious?

For some people it's like a $100 increase to their season ticket seat. That's a big jump.

Yep. That Shiner Bock is some good brew. Now we're spinning this into a beer thread. That's always good.

    I loved playing golf.

Whenever summer rolled around, I would break out the Pings and hit the range. Gorilla some drives out there, work a couple of magic shots with my wedge, then hit the links and proceed to score about a 100 and throw my back out. Then, repeat for a few weeks and finally throw the Pings back in storage.

One year, it may have been the year I got married, they went into storage and I haven't seen them since.

Kind of like arguing who finished last or second to last in a road race of 2000 people...... :-)

You can pay this monthly unlike your season ticket.... a lot easier to swallow when you look at it that way.

$8.33 per month should be doable for anyone who can afford season tickets and costs associated with going to games. If you were that "strapped" then maybe the money should be going elsewhere instead of sporting events.

I'm not speaking for myself. I'm speaking for a fan who may not look at it like that. Anything can be broken up into monthly installments, doesn't necessarily make it more affordable.

But I want to reiterate, there seems to be very few (if any) universities that require donations for every seat season ticket.
