I agree and baseball is high on my list so I will find a way to come up with the $250. But to all who are criticizing those of us who will struggle to come up with the money, are you willing to up your RCAF donation by $250? Sure you might already belong but can you easily put down $250 more. That's what you are asking me to do.

Not criticizing you, this athletic program isn't just about you. I've been giving to RCAF out of the kindness of my heart so you can e joy better things. If they sent me a bill telling me I have to up my RCAF, yes if find a way to pay it or bow out, that's my choices. Expecting this program to not advance because of my personal financial situation is unfair to everyone else. What if everyone looked at it like you? What if the guy who has a family of 4 can only afford 2? Should we cut ticket prices in half so that guy can afford 4? Where does it stop? We are running in place right now, we have to move forward. I'm sure they wished more people voluntarily joined RCAF but they haven't so now they are gonna force people's hand and they should.

Short term it is strictly financial. I will join RCAF in 2018 to keep baseball tickets but will more than likely have to drop football tickets. Not my ideal scenario but there are only so many entertainment dollars to go around.

If you have football season tickets haven't you already joined rcaf?

I would love season tickets, but I am content to watch an excellent program compete on television if I cannot afford them. For someone in my tax bracket, that's the best I can hope for. This is freaking America, right? If this was Sweden, everyone would have free tickets, free hot dogs, free parking... and we would be watching second rate baseball. I'm so sick of whiners, sore losers, recounts, et cetera. Let's play ball.

Pretty sure some of those fund raising proposals were part of the plan provided to the university. They know you can't get all the needed revenue from the fan base. The worry is we weren't smart enough five years ago or we would be much further ahead than we are right now.

I know that none of the things we want to do to make athletics independent are investment free, that I know. You have no idea how much money I have, I give because I want to see the program progress. I work in the oilfield, I certainly could use that RCAF money right now. You just dont want to pay it, you mean other options of besides your pocket. Hey f'it...let somebody else pay for it and I'll just enjoy it. Again, what motivates me to keep giving to RCAF as a baseball season ticket holder while the guy sitting right next to me doesn't? You want to talk short term? If they don't do something soon RCAF will be worthless. Make all season ticket holders join RCAF, immediate influx of money...look fans this is what we did with your money...oh awesome, here is more money. Do you not think RCAF has been a huge benefit so far? Or did you like the previous 30 years of mediocre sports in ____y facilities? But hey it was cheap. Obviously nothing I say will make you want to open your wallet but the important thing is it's coming...you have 2 years to decide what you are going to do. ___ is about to finally start getting done around here.

I'm thinking it also removes any excuses by coaches, departments, and others about us not having "XXXXXX" as being the excuse we aren't or can't be successful.
