Do people really not think season ticket holders should pay a little more (contribute) for a big brand new stadium? They are one of the direct beneficiaries of it.

----I think with the markets rising like they have been that the Louisiana Foundation should be sitting pretty good with its endowment and ability to fund more S-ships and teaching positions! Any CPAers on here to guess the % it might have risen with conservative investments???
This is why we must move forward in looking for other avenues to raise revenue. The Alden report suggested a number of them, beginning with purchasing production equipment and selling your second and third tier rights to networks like CST and American Sports Network. If Arkansas State can create $1.8 mil to $2 mil revenue in the Jonesboro Market, imagine what UL could do in this market? Re-seating arenas and selling your rights are the two areas that will be addressed first. But with some of the auxiliary fees ending soon, more revenues will need to be raised.
I agree There are several ways to raise revenue but some people don't understand none of them are free..it takes money to put those things in place. You put a value on something and people want it. Nobody values free, tailgating was free and nobody went...we started charging and we had a waiting list a mile long.
You get what you pay for. I'm sorry that prices are going up, but that's life guys. If you want a better product, you have to pay for it. We bttch and complain about lagging behind other programs, and then we bttch and complain when action is taken?
I'd like to survey all of the people that are upset. Would you rather unprecedented success for the athletic program (and subsequently the university and community) at a higher cost, or would you prefer to stay in the middle and keep your parking spot and your seats?
How about national corporate sponsors like Coke and Budweiser or others that sell at baseball. How about other companies that do business with the university? Maybe that is already there. I have no way of knowing. If you have to join RCAF then so be it but lets at least let the fans know what else we are doing to increase revenue. People keep talking about growing our budget but ticket prices and RCAF can only take us so far. Its time to be more proactive and visionary and reaching outside the box
