I know that none of the things we want to do to make athletics independent are investment free, that I know. You have no idea how much money I have, I give because I want to see the program progress. I work in the oilfield, I certainly could use that RCAF money right now. You just dont want to pay it, you mean other options of besides your pocket. Hey f'it...let somebody else pay for it and I'll just enjoy it. Again, what motivates me to keep giving to RCAF as a baseball season ticket holder while the guy sitting right next to me doesn't? You want to talk short term? If they don't do something soon RCAF will be worthless. Make all season ticket holders join RCAF, immediate influx of money...look fans this is what we did with your money...oh awesome, here is more money. Do you not think RCAF has been a huge benefit so far? Or did you like the previous 30 years of mediocre sports in ____y facilities? But hey it was cheap. Obviously nothing I say will make you want to open your wallet but the important thing is it's coming...you have 2 years to decide what you are going to do. ___ is about to finally start getting done around here.

To be honest, once the RCAF was created I thought it was a forgone conclusion that at some point the ability to purchase season tickets would be tied to an RCAF donation. After regional's when the arguments started about what takes precedence, being a season ticket holder or being an RCAF donor, I thought it was even more important that they be tied together.

Very good point on the regionals. This takes that point of contention out of the picture

And you clearly didn't read where I said several times it's not about either of our financial situations....do you stand outside a fine resteraunt and argue with them about their prices? Do you argue with the lady at the window of the movies? No, you either pay and go or you don't.

As a charter member of the RCAF I think it is about time they require membership for season tickets. We are taking about 68 cents a day to be at $250 level. Nonmembers have been riding the coat tails of 2300 people for long enough.

Tell you what. I will meet you at the RCAF office and donate my $250. I'll find a way to make that happen. You can then increase your current level by $250 since you seem to think it is so easy to come up with that amount.

He gives a lot more than that and has been, if he didn't you would have been priced out a long time ago. RCAF members have been supplementing your ticket costs for years now. We have helped keep ticket prices down.

A program should never completely restrict access to season tickets. There should be some seats that do not require a donation to the RCAF.

To put this in perspective, LSUAMBR even has seats in the Box (and Tiger Stadium) that DO NOT require TAF donations.

What happens if there are a few down years in baseball? I guarantee you season ticket sales will go down and they will have to get rid of the RCAF requirement.
