No offense, but the players in this Saturday's game were in middle/high school in 2008, which was the last time the two teams played. How would USM's 6-0 v/s spread historically have anything to do with setting a line for this game?

the last time that we played Southern Miss most people were in the middle of evacuating ahead of a hurricane. Bad blood since USM's coach wouldn't move the start time to a morning start like most other games in the area. That game was also the year that Fenroy got cheap shotted on a kickoff return, and the USM players played dirty as ____ which was a reflection on Fedora's style of play when he was the coach there.

As mentioned before, Hud's guys have come to play in the bowl games. I expect the same this year.

I have been pretty close and fairly accurate with my score predictions this year thus far. However, I have no clue what to expect for the bowl. Which team for either school will show up is the question. I think we know what we have here. A limited team offensively with a good defense. Like someone said earlier, we need to turn them over and stop the run and pray we can get Eli in space. I'll just sit back and watch.

All of my southern miss friends have been mighty quiet all week, I'm guessing that they don't think that this game is a lock. Also this is a tale of opposites, while UL started slow and finished strong, USM started strong and sputtered later in the season with a win over La Tech to get into the bowl.
