It's a damned sporting event. Anyone that doesn't like people "standing" at a sporting event should get a new hobby, go sit in the grass, or shell out the money to sit in the suite with the rest of the coated corpses.

Imagine that, we agree! Or stand your arse up yourself and get into the game. Part of the allure of actually going to a game is to have an interactive experience. If you just want to passively watch, just watch at home.
I have asked people to keep moving in the aisle when they stop to watch the game. I have been to many sporting events, especially hockey, where movement from your seat is not allowed until there is a stoppage in play.

Do the Cajuns pay rent to Cajundome?

How much of ticket sales and concessions do the Cajuns get?

UL owns the property and building, but aside from a dozen+ reserved days a year, has little in the way of retained rights.

City and operations fund and profit from use of the building.

You don't control the coated corpses. They've got as much right to aggravate you as you them. Many standers never sit, so it's not just third down or a big play celebration. They're by their selfish actions forcing everyone to follow suite.

Get used to it, the coated corpses outnumber the standers by a lot, and usually have more money.

They can have all the money they want.. Sir their aZz in the suites and Please. If you don't like people standing, stay home or find somewhere else to sit. Whether it happens at our school or anywhere else, it's dumb.

Home field advantage is predicated in large portion to fans affecting the game. By standing and making noise. Fans that choose to not participate actually HURT the home field advantage. Perfect example is the Ark St game. The 12k of us that showed up made more noise and affected the game more than any other crowd all year.

Don't like it? Stay home. JMO

I wont know what area I'm in until I pick up my ticket Saturday, but I'll be happy anywhere between the 20's and 300 level or below. The best view I ever had was the corner of the top of the 300 level, so lower isn't always better
