I'll have to disagree about holding our own. It will be the lowest attended bowl game by us by a long way. I'm thinking we'll get outdrawn by USM 2-1. We just don't have enough true fans to overcome our own obstacles.

I'll be there for the doubleheader. I'd planned on going to NO that weekend to watch basketball. Glad the football team could join us.

We ordered 8 tickets earlier this week. Might be a big walk up crowd next Sat. Despite the break even records USM is an attractive opponent. Like others have stated, we shouldn't underestimate the tightness in our regional economy. Could be hundreds thinking "I'll try getting a $20 near the stadium instead of $42 through UL" saving $80-100 to help pay for a room. Who knows. Think we see 40,000 in the Dome

Their average home attendance this year was 28k. They're not bringing an entire home crowd. And we'll be lucky to bring 10k. Seen ticket sales numbers?

We have always brought more to NO than we averaged in attendance. Why wouldn't they?

That's an anomaly when you look around the country.

I have not seen them. But I do know someone at USM and he said they will reach their allotment early next week. They sold over 19,000 season tickets this season, so even if 75% of their season ticket holders buy bowl tickets, that's more season ticket holders than we have period. We aren't close to our allotment right now.

They will outnumber us. Many, many fans have given up on HUD. I'll be there. But can't make the basketball game.

Idk how many we're selling but I somehow got the more expensive seats and I didn't want or expect that. Now I have to collect more from everyone in my group

I talked to Coach Munoz in the restroom at the Cajundome tonight....told him good luck and I would be in attendance Saturday...he said thank you and we need more people to buy tickets. He said sales are a little down at this point.

Anyone hear what the official New Orleans Bowl ticket sales are as of Saturday one week from the game? Louisiana Ticket Sales through Cajundome and Louisiana sales through New Orleans(people buying tickets asking to sit in the UL area). Also same for USM, sales in their town Hattiesburg and in New Orleans(those tickets sold for seating in USM area).
