Did you notice the second deck on both sides were Cajun fans? Looks like So Miss all bought their tickets through the school while many Cajun fans purchased through other sources. My neighbor wanted good seats and had no idea what UL would give him, so he purchased through another source and got 50 yard line on the So Miss side. Right or wrong, lot of stuff like this was going on.

---I think probably based upon what was said here about the sparse areas but some Cajuns fans spread out in various sections----go with 50/50----but I think the Cajun fans were louder and our band better---as far as the game I thought offensively S Miss was very very good----QB the best we faced as a passer with accuracy, zip on the ball, and touch---the RB had the best center of gravity and power I have seen in a while---McG with more spins---long, lean, speedy, and hands receivers---and the OL gave him the time just about all night----their defense was sufficient enough to get the win!!!

Refs helped them a lot every big review went their wat. Ball hits player on foot UL recovers it get overturned interceptor. On the one so just back up and take a knee we'll give it to them like it's a touch back. Targeting that wasnt. Every big call went against us all night

The ball hit the player on his wrist on its way up from the first bounce.

Yep. That interception should have been a safety.

On The targeting call, the ref used the replay screen to make that call. So the refs will use the jumbotron to make calls, but not correct them?

    Awesome news about the crowd!

The fact that we represented just as much as USM after the year we had and having been to this game so many times means more than most realize.

Are you sure the ref used the screen? He went into the booth. That may be to avoid looking at the screens.

The flag wasn't thrown when the play happened, but after the replay was shown on the stadium replay screen. The one thing I didn't see is whether the officials were having a discussion already while the replay was taking place.
