Thread: Coaching Carousel 2016

    Default Coaching Carousel 2016

    Past few days...

    Willie Taggard to Oregon
    Jeff Brohm to Purdue
    Matt Ruhle to Baylor

    Opening Positions:
    WKU
    Temple
    Houston
    Cincinnati
    South Florida

On another note, is time for the NCAA to step up and enfore a no contact rule for coaches until January so that they will finish a complete the season and coach the bowl games. The players deserve it!

I already pumped for next year, hahaha. I'm excited to see what those 3 coaches will due with their new programs. I think it is 3 really good hires so far.

Reports are that Ruhle turned down Oregon for Baylor.

If I had to rate the hires of those 3 programs it would be as follows.

    1. Purdue: Jeff Brohm
    2. Baylor: Matt Rhule
    3. Oregon: Willie Taggert

Now Taggert may reach success before the other two simply because of what's in place at Oregon.

The only problem is the fans and donors are going to want him to win immediately like Kelly and that may not happen as soon as a lot of people think.

There are rumors that WMU has offered Fleck a gargantuan contract.

You can do alot with that kind of money at the G5 level. It will be interesting to see if Taggart changes Oregon from a wide open offense to a very physical ground and pound offense like he did at WKU.

I don't like Taggert very much and think he is over rated. But I give him credit, he adapts his offense to fit his personnel. He has a very explosive offense at USF which looks much different than his WKU days.
