Every once in a while, you'll get these teams that aren't a good match up for him. He's got some work to do on conditioning and is not as quick as he will be in a couple of years where his game can still translate to playing smaller quicker teams. Similar to Bryce Washington. He had the same body type but essentially changed himself and is now better for it. Miller is also a freshman and inconsistency is a staple for the average freshman so I can see where there will just be games that are worse than others. Look at Hardy. Didn't play particularly well against McNeese and then he lights it up against Loyola. I expect this across the board this year.
On his coaches show, Bob Marlin complained about the poor turnout for Loyola. Really coach, an NAIA team. We probably had more than FSU for Nicholls last night.
Bryce Washington and Frank Bartley each scored a game-high 19 points and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns used a 16-2 run midway through the first half to earn its seventh consecutive victory of the season with a 94-60 win over Loyola of New Orleans on Wednesday at the Cajundome.
