This was my first game tonight. Everything in the arena screams "big time." The LED lit roof and the pregame light show are on par with what I've seen in NBA arenas. And while I still don't know how i feel about the court, it definitely has a big time look and feel to it.
As nice as it is for the fans and the team, this is going to be GIGANTIC for recruiting. Recruits are going to walk in and see the history on the walls, the new, fancy interior, and that big time atmosphere that blows away our competition. They'll be dying to be a Ragin Cajun.
We finally have a first class college basketball arena. 31 years too late, but oh well. The future is bright for this program.
For those of us with college in the rearview mirror, do you remember final exams week?
Better yet, do you remember the day after when your mind was a little on the exhausted side and the last thing you wanted to do was have to perform in front of 3,544 people pretending to be sharp?
Marlin has "discussion" with team at halftime. Cajuns respond.
I plan on making my first appearance Saturday afternoon. Should be a good one.
Yes but the girls start at five might as well make it a double header.
____ed we can't make it Saturday. Going to be a good gauge check.
