I really think ESPN has a snarky attitude and does certain things for spite. On one game they used the Lafayette College logo for some information posted and I think it was intentional. I'm not paranoid but this name issue has brought me close.

With the conference (which includes ULM) behind it I think we're on our way to getting this done.

ULM is not behind it (evidenced by their media notes for football game). They are not complaining.
