Lady Cajuns Track grabs a first place finish

  Louisiana's track and field team competed in the Jeff Davis Invitational hosted by McNeese State in Lake Charles, La., with good results.

Amanda Roberts scored a first-place finish for the Cajuns as her time of 57.91 in the 400 meter dash.

The Cajun track and field team will next head to Fayetteville, Ark., to participate in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 12 and 13.

You would finish 2nd overall, or 2nd out of the UL women? The girl listed second above finished 5th overall.

Don't feel bad, that 2nd UL lady would give me a good run for my money in the 400m as well. Fortunately, I can put over 2 minutes between me and the gal above who led the Cajuns in the 3000m!
