Is ULM biggest rivalry for UL football?

Exactly which one is the UL football program's biggest rival these days — ULM or Arkansas State?

Full disclosure, I went into this little project with my mind made up that the answer was Arkansas State ... and my opinion hasn't changed.

But as you peel back layer after layer, it becomes very obvious that the question is an even better one than I realized.

Not so. ULM is the litmus test of how bab you are. To lose to them tells you that your years sucked. Beating them doesn't make me happy, it only means we're not dying.

I want to beat every conference opponent equally bad. I don't want to lose to ULM because it means losing to someone whose athletic program is in shambles.
