True, but imagine the home court advantage.

Ragin' Cajuns Re: About The Cajuns New Basketball Court

cal-berkely was playing a home game on tv last night. they have the outline of a bear's head at mid-court. get used to seeing more schools going in this direction.

These court designs have been in place for over 5 years in some cases, possibly longer. Oregon's was unveiled in 2010. FIU in 2013. Memphis in 2013. Long Beach State has beach scene for a handful of seasons as well.
I like LA's court, but we are 3-5 years behind this trend. Much like we were with the uniform designs. Cincinnati Bearcats had been wearing the exact style uniform and color scheme for 5 seasons, when we thought it was a fresh design.

With all that said, better late arriving then not arriving at all.

We had even redesigned a brand new court after this trend started.

I think we're going to see fresh branding moving forward. Louisiana was told to embrace "Cajun" in the Alden Report, and this is part of that report finally getting taken seriously.

So whether y'all dig the court or not, this is a good sign for our future.

And in the big scene, still a super early jump on a well received trend.

So early I'm not sure it can be called a trend yet.

And if it is a trend, The Indoor Swamp just might be the court that put it over the stump.
