UL hoops win streak rooted in loss at Montana State

It was just after the UL basketball team had lost a tough one at Montana State, back on Nov. 14, that junior big man Bryce Washington spoke up.

The Ragin’ Cajuns were 0-2 at the time, having also fallen three nights earlier at Minnesota to a Golden Gophers club that opened 6-0 before finally losing last Monday night at Florida State.

We lost that game to Montana State because of poor free throw shooting which happened again last night. Fortunately being accurate at at the charity line was not an important element vs the NSU Colonels. We need to be more consistent in this important category to achieve that NCAA bid at a higher seed than fourteen, fifteen or sixteen.
