    Just in case.

But UL starting quarterback Anthony Jennings still plans to file an appeal for an extra season of eligibility so he can play for the Ragin’ Cajuns again in 2017, the graduate transfer said after practice Tuesday.

Time to move on. Good luck.

AJ set us back a year or two at the QB position this year.

Time to Develop a freshman or sophmore QB.

We lost with an sec transfer QB. If We gonna loose, loose developing someone who will be here a few years.

Regardless if Jennings comes back or not we need to go find somebody else...probably 2...I just don't see a single downside of having Jennings on our roster. It's a win all the way around and on top of that he seems like a great guy to have on your team. Not many kids would handle his situation at lsu the way he did...not many at all.

Our coaches did that, not Jennings. Jennings might very well get us to a winning record and a bowl win and give us a chance to go get a quality juco/transfer until we find that stud high school kid.

I agree. You take someone like Jennings every time. Ideally you want a redshirt junior QB taking the reigns and start for 2 years then repeat.

There are a lot of reasons why the offense struggled this season and not all of it is on AJ. But, I would take another season of AJ over a still very inexperienced Ray or Davis.
It's time to remove the experience thing on Davis. Jake delivered an 8 win season as a true freshman against a much more difficult schedule than any Hud coached team has played. Time for the young man to sink or swim.

    You make a good case.

Although, Jake did come in as a last resort and wasn't pulled or held back due to any turnovers.

His confidence was allowed to grow.
