No guarantees he will be consistently as good as the last 3 weeks, because he hasn't done it yet for an entire year and God knows hud will never pull him and try someone new.
He looked pretty damn good before he got hurt at Tulane and quit running...he he has looked a whole lot better since his ankle has gotten healthy and he can run again..HUD's offense has to have QB that can run...also if you have a bad ankle on your plant leg, your throws aren't going to be very good either. So far, what I've seen of a healthy Jennings here, I'll take him all day every day.

---These are the stated rules but appeals are exceptions to these---When one factors in the amount of time that was put into the year for playing just a few nonsignificant plays, the exceptions fact could come into play----the medical RS is based upon this principle (so little time played due to an injury) but yes this situation is different, so little time played and played for what costs so much (a lost year of competition)!

WTF... People we are 5 and 6. What has he (and this staff) done to make you believe we would do any better next year with him at QB . He is a senior QB that makes bad decisions. He's an "athletic" QB that can't be counted on to get 1 friggen yard.

He may be the nicest guy in the world, but fans aren't gonna line up to watch another mediocre season and being embarrassed by App St on National TV.
If you think all of our problems are on Jennings your crazy. We literally look like a different team since Georgia southern...not playing different..we are a totally different offense. Jennings wasn't calling Eli's number up the gut half the year, Jennings didn't play defense at Tulane...he has had issues and he isn't the second coming but we won't even put our current backup on the field.

There is no "sunshine pumping" going on here. We are simply debating whether he can or cannot get another year of eligibility. If you read the messages posted, some think his coming back would be good and some disagree. I think we need someone at QB next season and although I doubt he will be successful in getting another year, his coming back is better than the current prospects at QB. Is it no longer OK to discuss football on here? At one time this was a sports forum where people discussed Ragin Cajun Sports. Now we have a bunch of message board naxis who try and discourage any discussion that cannot be spun into some kind of scandal.

Just curious how many would be complaining about Jennings right now, I am sure most would be, if we were 7-4 right now and a chance to go 8-4? We are two plays away from being 7-4 and you can't blame everything on Jennings.

Honestly answer if you think Ray or Davis are ready for the starting job next season?

There are a lot of reasons why the offense struggled this season and not all of it is on AJ. But, I would take another season of AJ over a still very inexperienced Ray or Davis.

Mel has a valid point that he had an injury earlier but IMHO, when a play breaks down he is slow to react and he looks clumsy. Sorta like a 7 foot center with shot clock running out.

I'm glad someone said it. This is exactly how I feel about the team, specifically the offense. It has looked entirely different (in a good way) since the Georgia Southern game. I know Jennings threw three picks in the Georgia game, but I'll take those mistakes in a game where we don't play afraid to air it out over a mistake free (no picks, but also no ball thrown further than 8 yards down field) style any day. We've played loose the last few weeks and it is glaringly obvious we're better when we play loose.
