Thread: Jennings wants one more year at UL

  1. Default Re: Jennings wants one more year at UL

From all I hear Jennings is a good kid. I am surprised by the fact that he is a good kid that he would want to stay another year. I thought the good kids wanted out and the bad kids were the only ones staying......MAT can you answer this for me??????

You are always a snap away from getting to see more than you want from your backup. Stockpile them.

OK, well I just mean that if he could have played (physically) than I doubt they will give him his year back. I know nothing about his time at LSU, but if his lack of playing time was due to "coaching malpractice," I do not think that the NCAA will grant another year. That would open up a huge can of worms. I hope it would happen, but I can't see it.

It would be like if gunner was a true freshman this year and his dad burnt an entire year to let him hand off at Texas state. What is the kid gonna do? Tell coach no?

----I was so disappointed when we barely used Devin and blew the RS when he was a freshman---now he has a chance with maturity and his physicality (speed) to really put pressure on the defense---What a stable of receivers we look to have next year and also adding the SMU transfer!!!

Well being benched because you were terrible and having your coach coat you a year for a handful of plays is a huge difference. If you are going to put stuff out there be accurate. He is on our team now.

I never said anything about him being terrible. Try reading the black part of the print...

You don't "get benched" for being good

You don't "get benched" for being good. Either way, that's not what happened with the year he will try to get back.
