At this point and seeing who we have coming back next year at the position, I'd welcome Jennings with open arms unless we got another transfer stud.

I wish this would happen but I do not think there is a snow balls chance in hell that it will. I agree that as the season progressed that his timing with the receivers has improved. I just do not see that the NCAA woudl give him an extra year because he was benched. I hope I am wrong.
I would love to see more of what we have with Dion Ray but i know that the coaches will never commit more to him than they have at this point, making it highly unlikely that he will be a dual threat QB moving forward. He will likely either be moved or be the wildcat QB for the next 3 years so whoever we can put back there that can throw downfield, I'm good.Right now, I have little confidence in Davis too so our options are limited.
It's not because he was benched...his boneheaded coach burnt a year on a handfull of plays where he didn't throw or run...just hand off. It would be like if gunner was a true freshman this year and his dad burnt an entire year to let him hand off at Texas state. What is the kid gonna do? Tell coach no?
From all I hear Jennings is a good kid. I am surprised by the fact that he is a good kid that he would want to stay another year. I thought the good kids wanted out and the bad kids were the only ones staying......MAT can you answer this for me??????
OK, well I just mean that if he could have played (physically) than I doubt they will give him his year back. I know nothing about his time at LSU, but if his lack of playing time was due to "coaching malpractice," I do not think that the NCAA will grant another year. That would open up a huge can of worms. I hope it would happen, but I can't see it.
