Oh well, your loss. You have spent 2 threads making passive aggressive remarks and basically saying that TE lockeroom dysfunction is fabricated. BJ is telling you the completel opposite. It's not "blindly" agreeing with him to suggest that there is probably issues in the locker room. Actually, it's teaching to say the opposite. You can shove your respect up your ___. I have no respect for people that go against the obvious just because it doesn't fit their innocent fan boy version of the UL football program.

    The above is sarcasm........
The way things go on RP sometimes, pointing out that the above is sarcasm is strangely needed. Well done. You also forgot to point out that once Farmer, Hud, Marlin, TJoe and the lead hydration engineer are fired, UL will rise to national prominence.

There are issues in every locker room. Specifically football that is what happens when you have 90-100 18-22 year olds spending that much time together. Not everyone likes everyone. Just like I don't have to like you. Hell I have seen it at the high school level on the basketball court with 10-15 kids. Do we have issues. Yes. Are they better or worse than 50% of the rest of D-1. I don't think so. Are they magnified because we are not winning like we were 2 years ago. Yes. Did Haynes deserve to be at UL No. he was not D1 talent and should not have been at UL in general. Fuse feelings are hurt because he was outplayed by better talent. And Mitchell may or may not be homesick. Only time will tell the truth.

All of the above being said. You are still a d1ck

I understand the total concern for some fans as much as I understand the "everything is fine" angle. This season has been a roller coaster ride both on and off the field from the locker room video to players leaving. But for whatever reason Mitchell left the team doesn't change the fact that this is the third person to leave in a week. Regardless of the reason, that's not a good sign. Plain and simple.

I want to be optimistic, and I hope we go to Monroe and become bowl eligible for the 5th time in 6 years. But to say that there's absolutely nothing wrong right now would be foolish. And not because of what people are saying in here on RP, but because of what I've seen on the field. Losing to the likes of Tulane, NMSU, and Idaho; getting shutout at home for the first time since 2002 on national television. Maybe this was acceptable ten years ago, but we now have waaaaaaay too many resources to settle for 6-6 in a terrible conference.

Ditto to everything you said below.

Look, T-Joe has done an excellent job in some aspects of this university. Some areas he has been decent and others he has absolutely failed.

Scott Farmer has been a failure since the first realignment occurred. It was a downhill ride ever since.

Hud started off with a bang. Infusing some very talented players with high character guys Bustle recruited. We went 9-4 for 4 straight season. As soon as we get 100% HUD's players it has been a downaward spiral. We are drastically more talented under Hudspeth and yet we under perform. IMO it is due to not having the character of champions in the locker room.

Marlin, I don't know where to begin. He started off with a bang. Got Peyton and Long soon after. Ran into locker room issues and cleaned house. Floundered for a few years and now looks like he is back on track. I personally don't like him and think we could do much better. But you can see he has a plan, he has tried to execute that plan so I will cut him a little slack on that. He needs to win 25+ games a year with these weak schedules IMO for me to consider it a successful season.

Now you want to talk about national prominence. We will never be a household name. Our ceiling is about where Temple has been since Matt Rhule got there. Possibly Memphis as well. But that takes a dynamic AD with full support from the Pres. It takes great coaches in the two major sports with personalities that the media loves. Finally it takes luck. We have been snakebit for decades.

I'm not trying to make excuses for the kid, but I feel like Fuse was used in a way that didn't allow him to succeed here. Last season, they put him in the wideout spot that Jamal Robinson was playing in when he got injured. And they were throwing jumpballs in his direction. I look at Trent Taylor (#5 from La Tech) and see what he has done there, and I see what Fuse could've done for us if he was given that same opportunity in the slot.

Like you said, time will tell.

You are dead wrong on the locker room. I'll prove it with numbers when I have time to sit and hammer it out.

But I do appreciate the kind words. Always nice to discuss with a fan.

I see you have an admirer in Crawfish, but don't get too excited.. He loves anyone that doesn't like me

You can't argue with an Ostrich with it's head shoved firmly in the sand. Let these cheese eaters laugh about their "jokes". Realize they all do so in flip flops and socks.
