Hudspeth apologizes to Arkansas State coach

UL coach Mark Hudspeth on Monday acknowledged he called Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson on Sunday to apologize for the behavior of some Ragin’ Cajun players late in Saturday’s 24-19 Cajun win over the Red Wolves.

I don't like Anderson. And anyone except a blind man could see on the replay that the knee, and possibly even the hip made contact before the ball came out of his hand. Anderson should have returned Hud's apology with a profuse apology of his own.

if ark state initiated a celebration with two seconds left, seems referees could have subdued the situation by in the reversal announcement also announcing a penalty on the wolves. weren't we penalized once for only one person being on the field illegally for a celebration, if this was most of their team? (I caveat by saying I didn't see it) [also it says a helmet was thrown, isn't throwing a helmet grounds for ejection?]
