Texas does not have a money problem...they have a coaching problem. Granted, the last couple of years have been tough because of the oil price. The comeback of oil will lead to UT's portfolio to ballon. They are the richest program in the NCAA...and it's not close.

UT being $2000000 or so in the red for a year is like you losing $20. You are a little annoyed, but it won't affect you in any real way. Total endowments for public higher education in the Lone Star State approach 60 Billion dollars, with 25 billion of that being in the UT system..
Unlike Louisiana, Texas places real value on quality education.
Mullen on a short list at UH, hmmm....
Though at first glance, I thought there is no way someone would jump from P5 to UH. But, that Mississippi State job is the pits. You are automatically the 6th best team in your division almost every year.
He might if Houston is paying more than Moo St. I do not know what he is getting paid or what Houston is going to pay but it might be close the the same for a lot less BS.
Houston will hire Art Briles back.
If we ever hired Art Briles I would not step foot in the stadium until he was gone.
