LA Logos that the University needs to stick with. Here is one that I came up with basically its a Dodgers Logo, with a different color scheme, but sure that the University can do a different version, like the G's when it comes to Georgia, Grambling, and Green Bay.

Get rid of the yellow/orange around the fleur de lis. Who ever thought it was a good idea to put mustard on our logo should be shot.

The Sun Belt Conference's decision to refer to UL Lafayette as "Louisiana" met with no protest from ULM President Nick Bruno.

The revised media reference guide released by the Sun Belt last week lists "Louisiana" as UL Lafayette's name on first reference and "LA" as its short abbreviation.

All presidents and chancellors of Sun Belt-member institutions were aware of each school's naming preferences before the guide was given final approval by the conference.

No objections were raised regarding UL Lafayette's naming preferences.

I think ESPN isn't going to spend a cent changing the branding this academic year. When the SBC and NCAA starts sending down things under LA next year it happens.

The conference has a contract with ESPN, if the conference didn't cover protecting its members brands in that contract then they are idiots. Having the conference behind this is huge...we were never going to get anywhere until they were behind it.
