Delaware State was much better than I expected. They had shooters and they were hitting with guys in their face. Honestly, the defense was not bad, these guys were just hitting everything at times. The problem I saw was rebounding. Numbers were pretty even and we went small to counter their guard offense and we got beat pretty good on the glass and we gave up quite a few offensive rebounds.
I saw promise in this team however. Everyone of the guys that played showed me something and that we could expect some nice things from them moving forward. I'm still a little confused on why start Plaisance when he literally played maybe 8 minutes the whole game. Why not start someone else? I thought we should have gone with a bigger lineup to really bang the glass on the inside and push the ball on the blocks but we decided to go small and shoot a lot of 3's.
