Hopefully Fusilier sticks around next season to hold down the slot with Riles and Haynes not in the mix
I have not seen any Louisiana football players in my lifetime make worse decisions when returning kicks.
He was TERRIBLE.
one of his biggest issues as an athlete is that he is undersized, and this has nothing to do with his off the field issues. Some undersized players can outrun or make defenders miss, it seems to me that he gets hit and knocked backwards allot. He very rarely avoids or can even elude DB's much less LB's. I don't think, even if he were the perfect student athlete off the field that he would succeed at the FBS level. I think he can be a very serviceable player at the FCS level.
Just my opinion.
From the tweets I've seen, it appears this is something that's been in the works for a while. Haynes tried to stay with his team longer than he thinks he should have. Sounds like he's been on the fence as to what to do and finally decided to move on. I don't know him personally but I do know members of his family. Has some really good people and some bad people. Wish him well in the future. He's not worried about just football but also worried about continuing his education. Nothing wrong with that and a change of scenery may help him out. We all know south Louisiana can be a bad spot for some people.
Guess he either can't dance too good or was a Trump supporter....He won't be the last either....The ship is sinking.
