This is what I don't understand. Ray cannot throw the ball (or our professional coaching staff does not trust him to throw the ball, which, like it or not, they probably know better than we do). He can't be anything more than a situational guy right now. To say he should take over for AJ is absurd. We would be playing against 9 man defensive fronts (and yesterday against SEC defensive ends who run like 4.5s). He has 0 pass attempts in college. That says something.

Maybe he should be the guy to replace McGuire next year.

If Elijah Mitchell from Erath keeps his commitment, he will be the likely replacement for McGuire. Interesting in that they have the same first name.

We'll put that 4th down conversion plague right next to the one we have for Yvette.

In the few games I have seen, Fuse has a difficult time getting off the jam and then does not have the ability to create separation coming out of his breaks. He may get more chances now that Haynes is gone.

I've been saying this for two years now about all of our receivers. We've complained about getting no separation in the secondary from defenders and I think a lot of that comes from not getting free on the LOS. It isn't just him.

    What happened????
Know he is a natural slot but has sure hands.

He has never been a "main" part of our offense.

Gotta make the lay ups and the 3 pointers and get some inside the arc jumpers---that is what some defensive gurus think they need to stop by the offense----jam at the los and have a 3 deep over the top presence----Since those jumpers are harder to make/complete with the defensive man or zone coverages and hard hits that can be given, the emphasis is on the other 2-----Hawk, guess you recognize where this comes from in today's philosophy, but started at Arkansas with Holtz, Carrol and its creator Kiffen!!!

Speaking of Rebowe, how long before he's run out of town?

Rebowe went 5 and 6 at Nicholls this year with a freshman QB. At Nicholls that is success. He will be there for awhile.
