If they still are in three years is something I cannot predict.
Mike, you know you can predict with 99% accuracy. If Marlin doesn't have multiple losing seasons he gets a raise and extension to continue his mediocre husbandry.

    Come on, yes it did.

Do you think you only learn when a ball gets stolen from you? Do you think you only learn when you turn the ball over? Do you think you only learn when a shot gets rejected?

Running an offense and switching to defense against live competition advances every single player.

Like I said we will have to see how Panhandle does against Texas State, to get a clearer picture of this game.

You learn when you're playing against competition like you. The coaches can then use films to dissect your play. What's coaches gonna teach here.

You can learn a lot by doing something right.

If getting stuffed is the great learning experience, I'm sure they have plenty of footage so they can learn moves from other peoples mistakes.

You should be ashamed of yourself comparing Robe to a glorified garbage collector. La, has already proven they are willing to be a crap basketball school, and want to be a top tier baseball school. We unlike many successful non P5 programs get nothing worth mentioning in TV revenue, and P5 schools use enormous TV and NCAA money to overpay their coaches who are at least successful at the highest level. Marlin cannot justify his salary at any level. We get no TV deals, he does not get to the NCAA on a regular basis, has never gotten a second NCAA portion from his teams.

As long as you bring up trades, yes, I would pay a great garbage man more than a bad plumber. I pay him more money, and be glad and safer for it.
LOL, you've got to be kidding me. So your plan is to give the guy you think is terrible AN EXTENSION?!?!?!? And pay him less money?!?!?!? I can assure you no AD has ever done something like this, and if you can't figure out why idiot is not a strong enough word to describe you.

I'm obviously not comparing Robe to a garbage collector. Everyone else understood that but you. I know you can't be that dense.

As for the rest of your comments, they make absolutely zero sense. You're telling me a basketball coach that doesn't make the NCAA tournament doesn't deserve a high salary. Yet there are hundreds of college basketball coaches that don't make the tournament but make more than almost every baseball coach. So in your mind every single AD at every single school is an idiot. But maybe, just maybe, they aren't the idiots here.

Boomer word to ya hyperbole. I didn't say stuffed. Somebody as good as you. You learn nothing from overwhelming a lesser opponent. You may even be doing things wrong and overwhelme them.

If your view is really right all our non conference should be not div one. We could learn a lot about overwhelming. And it's all about three days in March.

Your boy Bobby BigFish has a long history. It's not likely to change.

I'd love for Bobby BigFish to prove me wrong starting at once. If you think I'd rather be bad and right you're nuts.

He doesn't have a long history taking in transfers, you said it yourself. How does that approach go with what you've seen thus far? We won't know how the transfers will work until much later in the season. Marlin has been underwhelming in his time here. Nobody questions that and I've been a big critic of his here as well but I'm not going to assume that the transfer route won't work.

You still haven't a clue how good the transfers are. Then there's Marlin with a lottery pick and a guy who could play in NBA soon. We've got that Marlin.

You are right, we don't have a clue how good they are...But yet, in your previous post, you said that you already know it won't work out....Going in circles here...

Not so much. We've had two NBA caliber players and he farted.

I doubt any are as good as EP or Long
