Yeah, I don't understand what they're doing with the camera changes. It was disorienting. You just have to watch a professional game to generally know which angles to use. Just stick with the sideline camera until after a play.

I'm not sure how good they are but their loss was by 3 points at Washington State who is no pushover.

And Minnesota took down UT Arlington by about the same difference as us and they are a pretty good club (as far as S-BC clubs go).

You knew that foul was going to be called. The refs were only hoping that Montana had the chance to take a shot before the buzzer so they could call the shooting foul......home cooking.......

Haha! That's really funny. So, at a higher altitude the ball goes 10% further than at sea level? They should have adjusted.

The Hall kid scored 32 against Washington State and has great range. He may go to NBA after this year which is his sophomore year. Scouts are watching him closely. Other than he they are solid but not great. I think we beat them double figures at home. We also likely win most on neutral courts as altitude would not factor into things

It would be great if we could quit looking for excuses, refs, altitude, practice facility different than Cajun Dome, Cajun Flu, APC, floods, time of day, hunting season, name obsession.

I watched the game. It is my strong opinion that altitude was a factor and I never meant to infer it was an excuse. I have played enough basketball to know that when you are gassed the legs are the first thing to go and they definitely had tired legs in the second half. The Montana State announcers said the same. I have not heard the cajun players or coaches mention it. Still, the team did not deserve to win as all they had to do was garner a defensive rebound in the last seconds to earn the victory. You don't do something that fundamental and you pay the price. Learned today that had Evans dove on the loose ball as had been the instructions given in the timeout time likely would have expired. Instead he got into a scramble for the loose ball with a guy much bigger than he and ended up getting called for the foul. Also learned the team was pretty down about the outcome which may be a good thing. It is supposed to hurt when you fight and are not rewarded. They better get over it quickly as they have several games coming up in the next few days.

Yeah, Panhandle State may exploit some weaknesses. Hope its not at altitude. Sorry but had to.

All I know about Panhandle State is they shoot lots of three pointers. We were poor last year in defending those. We are a little better this season in running guys off that line but not yet at the level we need to be in that regard.

My point Mike, it's always something unrelated to Marlin doing his job well. His record stands regardless. Mediocre at best. Starting his seventh season I think, and it's pretty much like all the others. Maybe he can get a win over the fearsome visiting panhandle team.
