Jennings best game by far. Ran and threw with authority.

A multitude of things triggered that. There is only one "back against the wall" that was important yesterday. Hud's. And once Hud allowed the staff and players the latitude to go wide open, we actually saw the ability of the player's on offense. It was there for them all year long.

The way we played the game last night was like mule cooter... it's there for you whenever you want it. It's there. All you have to do is go get you some.

You are correct that "Hud's limited offense" requires the QB to run well. But last night wasn't Hud's traditional preferential offense. The key to having a QB run well, or a RB run well, is to spread the defense around. The Cajuns opened up the playbook, finally, and took greater risks for greater reward. The QB/RB being able to gain yardage was a result of that. Observers are going to act like the team was inspired. I have no doubt they enjoyed actually playing to win... instead of playing to not turn over the ball. But the catalyst to last night was taking risks and putting a defense on their heels.

You could see the momentum and confidence build within the Offensive players as the game progressed....especially in the Offensive line. They improved their play last night. Still a few mental busts but much better. If they are playing well Jennings plays as we expect him to play. As I've stated too many times to count, Dion Ray has to get onto the field. I like the package they put together for him. I'll bet that as the Coaches gain confidence in him you will see a few seam and slant routes and hot routes added to his package. This kid is another Eli running the football.

If he can be only a marginal passer, his game would be awesome. But I think with defences having to play up to the line will open passing lanes and he has the potential to break a long run with every play.

Dion played well and showed what he is capable of. There is a problem with his package moving forward however. We have to have an element of the passing game to make a true wildcat QB, and I will kind of refer to him as that, effective. Georgia and future SBC teams will review the game last night and realize that when he's QB, there is no pass threat and you could see the GSU safeties start to really creep up last night closer to the line in the second half. Moving forward, if we don't add a wrinkle with his package, his effectiveness may be limited.

Eli is a warrior. The guy was just as hobbled as previous weeks and still gutted it out. That kid is giving everything he has to the program. One major credit I can give to HUD this year is that he certainly hasn't lost this team. Those guys are playing for each other even if we are all sitting home _____ing and complaining.

This team should be at least 6-3 right now. Only difference is coaching decisions and an unhealthy obsession with turnovers.

The punt wasn't even blocked. Coutts punted the ball into the guy's back.

The ball hit the front of one of our blockers helment, when he was turned around by one of GSU rushers. Blockers were line up to close to Coutts.

I can't imagine Ray throws any worse than riles...if he keeps running like that he will have receivers that open to throw too. Either way Ray needs to be in the gameplan and on the field somewhere until he graduates.

Have you all seen the locker room video of the football team in the APC after the election? The whole football staff needs to be fired.

Hud need to find out who posted this crap and do what is necessary. If it stayed in the locker room you might forget about it. But when it was posted to social media that you got a problem. What would Robe do in this situation? I think we all know the answer to that. Hud need to look at his playbook.......
