The name controversy is the best free marketing ploy of my lifetime.

Being called seven different things in the same game and having Lafayette College's logo used in place of ours during bowl games isn't how I'd describe that.

Someone may have mentioned this, but are we changing the hedges at Cajun Field that spell "UL" to "LA"?

I think the first step in getting people to stop calling us ULL etc is to stop trying to be called UL.

No, from everything I heard we will continue to use UL. LA will be used only for the scoreboard, tickers, print abbraviations, etc.

That is not set in stone. This is a topic of discussion and a decision has not yet been made. But it's likely we continue to use UL.
