We like the Pinhook area it's close to campus Zeus Blue Dog Hub City Mel's and all of our other favorites

We usually stay at the LaQuinta in the Oil Center or one the hotels a little further down pinhook. None of them are anything special but they aren't dumps either. We mostly like the location as well.

we stayed at the Travellodge for ever, but this trip was the last time. I even called the corporate offices it was so bad this trip.
I think were going to try a little further down Pinhook or the LaQuinta next trip.

There are many new hotels along that Pinhook corridor now. The Fairfield, Comfort Suites, Staybridge Suites, Best Western, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Wyndham Garden, Extended Stay America, Wingate by Wyndom, and Residence Inn all near the zone between the Pinhook LaQuinta & Kaliste Saloom areas.
