    Only way forward at this point, for this season, is to go full zone-read option football.

    It's our last bullet we have left, and it's a darned good one. We just have to use it and not keep it in our pocket like Barney Fife.

    You will be amazed at how our offense will open up once we re-establish the option.

    With this offensive line, you would have Jennings never taking the read option because the read is always imminent death. The only thing that would come out of a gun with that bullet is a flag that says "bang!".

    You can't just teach an offense how to run a zone read option offense in one week...it's very difficult and requires a lot of moving pieces to run effectively and our lineman are way to slow and big. I agree we need to find something that works, but it has to be built off our current offense.

    Huh? Our base running play is a zone hand off without the read.
