Let's be honest, when homecoming was being considered nobody thought Idaho would be as much of a toss up game as it now appears to be. Only App State after a three week home stand was not a better option, and no way was stAte a better option.

When you aren't very good, it gets tough to guarantee homecoming will be a blowout.

Seriously... I'm so into the turnover battles when I watch football... I could care less about the score. How cool would it be if both schools turn the ball over on every single play... and we end up with the very last play for a field goal to win it. 3-0 on the scoreboard... and we win the turnover battle 33-32! One of the players is going to hang his head in shame, "Coach, I turned the ball over on every play... I suck"... and the coach will say, "Heck no son... we won the turnover battle... that's all that counts!". Woohoo... same time... same place next week!!!

I'm guessing the attendance will be 16,371.

The LSU/Bama game day atmosphere is one of the best in the country all year. It'll be an all day party that lots of UL/LSU fans opt to attend over a UL/Idaho matchup. That's just part of life for Cajun fans. My question is this. What brainiac thought it was a good idea to schedule UL's homecoming on the same day that LSU is hosting Alabama?

The same brainiac that thought it was ok to play Boise St at 1100. This is the first year we have made it this far in the schedule without a wet game and we blow it.

I couldn't see the upper level but the home side looked good and there was decent coverage in the new section but there probably wasn't even 100 Idaho fans total
