True, but he deserves better than this. Scott Farmer and Martin Hall throwing this on Robi is chicken crap.

I was under the impression that only the grandstand was torn down. And that the metal bleachers were still in place. I thought that there was talk of still having home games at the Tigue with only bleacher seating available, until construction was complete. Maybe that was just a rumor. I cant remember

Does anyone know what his status is, is he still hoping to be a Cajun.
Not sure of the status, but it was probably wise of him as the outfield is looking to be pretty loaded. Blinn is a good JUCO. He will get the chance to play and develop at a quality place.

I want to say the same thing happened when UL went to play a weekend series in 2007 at USM and the school was remodeling Pete Taylor Park. The media/radio/PXP was setup down the third base line. The grandstand and press box was under construction and only the 1st and 3rd base lines were available.

I was there on Sunday. Lost a tough one 1-0. Buddy Glass pitched a great game.

    Me. I do. Thank you.

I can almost assure you the responsibility to calm the anger of season holders will be thrown upon Coach Robichaux.
I don't know if they can throw it on Robe with a straight face. Most, if not all, of Lafayette know Robe is more than competent.

He is the right guy for the job.

That might be tougher to do than try to play in a new venue. I don't think I'd want to tell 1800 of the 3000 season ticket holders "no seat for you". I think the biggest issue would be rest rooms, concessions, and meeting safety requirements for the area under construction. They've also already mentioned looking at all options, so don't be surprised if you wind up with the grandstand bowl completed and open but club area and suites continuing construction to try to minimize lost games.

I was there freezing. Stevie P. was in a plywood box down the LF line....freezing, but at least they played a home game.
