There is no other alternative in the Lafayette area with a larger seating capacity. The question will be, how do you renew season tickets when half of them will not have seats opening the season? This disaster has been downplayed from day one and I'm interested in how it's going to play out. Fabacer Field is not a bad option for the midweek games. Usually the crowd is about half of the normal attendance, it is good for the players to not have to travel somewhere and miss too many classes. The weekend series are the bigger problem. Can they put temporary bleachers down the lines and in the outfield.

I remember in 2015 that Alabama played their entire season 45 minutes away from Tuscaloosa and still sold season tickets. I saw pricing but not sure if it was their standard pricing model or a reduced amount.

This reminds me of the lost season of the IceGators having to suspend the 2016-17 season because the Cajun Dome would not be ready.......I know, who cares about the IceGators.

Where were the games played? Forty five minutes would be BR. .....If that is the case I know I will miss several games....I am planning for a disruptive 2017 season and a great 2018 season.

The thing that ____es me off is our legit Top 10 contending team will have to make the vast majority of its run this season without the usual home field advantage.

Robi may have one of his toughest coaching job ahead of him.

There isn't a better man for the job though. So we got that going for us, which is nice.

Let's pretend you arent still bitter for a second.
I'm sure Tony and the team would appreciate having fans at their "home" games, so knowing that %99 of the fans going to those home games are going to incur a lot of extra cost to do so, then the right thing to do would help your season ticket holders out by not charging them for a game, at this point is going to be held lord knows where. They screwed the handling of the stadium from the beginning, charging everyone full price for "home" games on the road is not going to go over well. For the athletic department to put all of the burden on the season ticket holders and not take any of it would be a disgrace and implementing and holding your season ticket holders hostage with seating rights is even worse. You just said you checked out on baseball season tickets, so not sure why this is any of your concern.

Let's pretend you can read. I've never been bitter or upset with the baseball program, or coach.

A program has to charge for every game. You're not going to sell season tickets assuming you're going to miss games.
