I did not say that Floyd is under Just Cause/Show Cause. I explained what happened previously for UL's old baseball coach and Cal's old basketball coach. Slow down read what I wrote and it's pretty easy to understand.

My source that Floyd won't be there? ESPN.com recently wrote a story stating that Floyd won't be there.

Given that the NBA season will still be going on and ESPN.com's report, I wouldn't expect him to be there. (Plus, he doesn't have to be there.)

    Hope that clears eveything up.

I do not recall asking you if he is under a Show Cause. You need to read what I wrote and do your homework. You have already burned a few bridges already.

slow down LtP, Josh answered your question. Not sure where this hostility is coming from.

He stated that his source was a recent article from ESPN.com.

LtP: I "did my homework" in this case. You just didn't like the response. I did my best to clear the air and provide the source you asked for. I explained what Just Cause/Show Cause was, you said Floyd wasn't under that and I pointed out that I never said he was in case there was any confusion.

My intent was to answer your questions and eliminate any confusion on this subject. I have no interest in starting arguments with strangers on a message board, and I hope you and everyone here understands that.

As for saying that I've "burned a few bridges": I'm doing just fine in continuing to gather and report accurate news, but I appreciate your concern.

Parrott obviously crossed the pirate at some point.
On this topic, Floyd should not be a candidate for our opening....too much bagage.

Floyd definitely was at the hearing. I watched the Hornets game on Friday night and he was not present. Announcers said he was participating in the USC hearing. Only reason for him to do so is his desire to get back into college coaching. NCAA could not make him appear as they do not have subpeona power. Even if he is cleared, the NCAA typically drags their feet on such matters for such a long period that the ruling will likely be well after the time frame for schools changing coaches

Floyd will Coach again. He couldn't stand the A.D. His A.D. out there would only communicate through a courier service. I ask, who would want to Coach there under those circumstances (A Coach who didn't have a job - O'Neil). Let's look at this too. Does anybody really think that Mayo went there because somebody got 1 Thousand Dollars ?
There is a reason that Tim Floyd went to the hearing and that was to clear his name period. Like I said before, If you don't like Tim Floyd, DON'T HIRE HIM. If you DON'T LIKE BILLY THE KID, DON'T HIRE HIM.
Last time I Looked Robert was 1 game out of First Place, Isn't that the GOAL ? I'm sure if you asked Robert if he would take the Championship and then whatever happens, happens. HE'S GOOD WITH THAT. I HOPE THE CAJUNS WIN PERIOD. ROBERT WILL DO WHAT HE HAS TO DO AND DAVID WALKER WILL DO WHAT HE THINKS IS BEST FOR THE UNIVERSITY PERIOD. JUST MY OPINION.

Floyd also wants to aire his side because USC COULD sue him.

As for Lee winning out this year, we could win the NCAA tourney and he would STILL need to go. Consistently less than 4k in the seats is a result of HIS teams' long-term performance for which HE is responsible.

Heck, at least MARTY was somewhat colorful.
