Why don't we wait and hear what the plan is before we start "freaking out"! I too am curious as to how things will play out.

Coozan....what, aside from the stadium being miraculously finished by the first home game could possibly give you any reason to not freak out? Go to the FAB? 1500 season ticket holders get left outside. Baton Rouge??? New Orleans?? 1....2......3... Freak out. Thanks Scott!

Nothing new here Z. The vast majority of ticket holders knew the disaster was coming in early June. Of course you're right, it falls at Scott FarmerBROWN feet.

The Baseball program will take a hit in season ticket sales and the lost revenue from the Lourde's Park. There is no way to accommodate 3,000 season ticket holders at Fabacher Field. Between the potential loss of revenue from season ticket sales, Lourde's Park and borrowing money from the University Foundation, it's a major financial blunder that starts at the desk of SF!

The best way to have handled it would have been to acknowledge the shortfall in February. Then borrow the needed funds or postpone the project. Instead we end up with a total f#%kup.

I had feeling if they would have postponed the project it would never get done... Take the hit this year and enjoy a BA new stadium for years to come

There were people who vowed to do a FOIA request to investigate Scott Farmer about the Tigue project and why it was delayed.

There is at least one poster here who has been posting random emails from Scott Farmer.

Look, if you want to start defending him again, go for it. You've read the post from the beginning on this subject. There are people involved with contractors that post on this board and knew when the work orders were issued. There is also a public record of what he told the UL System Board when requesting approval for the project when asked if the 70% or 80% of the funds have been raised, he stated it was just a formality. As for the FOIA, they the university turned over some of his emails, a number of them redacted and an entire month were missing from that period that they refused to turnover. Short of getting into other discussion in that entire thread, who was in charge of the project?

I'm not saying that we shouldn't be prepared to "freak out" at some point in time. I just hate to see folks wasting a good "freak out" prematurely! I'm simply suggesting that we wait until we find out just what TBD turns out to be before pulling the string on the "freak out". Once we find out if the Cajuns will be playing at FAB or Lafayette Little League, then we will all know just how drastic a "freak out" will be appropriate!!! LOL!!!
