Care more about winning post points. Write like you think you might win a Pulitzer. Asking great questions (like you do) is outstanding. But making emphatic statements comes with a level of responsibility, and should draw as much criticism that willing participants can provide. You may enjoy walking around with a blunt edge to your opinion. But until you share it and take repetitive criticism, you will never ever hope to have sharpness. Share your opinion... and enjoy the responses... especially the criticism.
As for your despising the elite (SEC and the P5)... I completely understand it. But never become jaded with those who face daily luxurious problems. I will never turn down the opportunity to have luxurious problems. Even if it means I may be in the company of others with lesser morals. You will never find a human character flaw exempt from any financial or power status in life. But you can do more to help the causes you support with money and power... and being in the company of those with money and power. Don't ever kid yourself... whatever you think is a big organization's problem... is also a little organization's problem. It's just on a much lower, less luxurious level.
I like it J1M, i really do!!! that is very eloquent!
but small correction, people seem to have this same mistake over and over again. I don't despise the SEC (in fact i even offered suggestions to do certain things like them) i despise unfair treatment (especially from the media) and flat out lies, as well as clear violations of rules that are not enforced. Without double standards it seems there would be no standards at all!
A State looks horrible against Georgia State tonight
