Pretty sure our current version of the pepper is much better than this. Still are you saying we don't need a spirit leader aka mascot? At least the current version of Cayenne does not look like an overgrown dildo.

In any case whatever UL-L comes up with, I am more than happy with. After all with visionaries like Farmer, and Savoy in charge. Everything I want for this university is happening, just look at the campus so modern, so new.

It doesn't look like the actual pepper logo has been removed as an option for licensees to use, but its obviously becoming less and less prevalent.

Love the FDL, but I didn't completely hate the pepper. I know I'm the minority. Anyway, the FDL is a more recognized symbol and a better representation Lafayette and the Acadiana area. I hope no one decides to steal our uniqueness and pass it off as their own. I'm looking at you refineryville.
