    Mr. McGuire:
I personally would like to Thank You for coming to UL and playing football and entertaining us. I just wish we had a Coach who knew how to use your talents.
DUD, is turning out to be a BIG QUESTION MARK.
I have NO faith in this man's judgement as a COACH or Recruiter.

Yes... I wish this team would have been better for your last year.

Agreed, but he landed the Prophet, and Alonzo. So he clearly can get the recruiting job done on some very good players

Just my opinion, but I don't think it is just a recruiting for Hud, I think its him and his coaching staff not being able to develop his players that is the main issue. For those who are saying he needs to just recruit better players is a cop out and not the issue.

Recruiting is an issue, but I believe the development or lack thereof is the biggest issue with this staff.

Agree, for a school like UL, you must be able to develop players to be successful. It's one of the reasons our spring sports are so successful. Those coaches know how to develop players..once you start doing that and win consistently, then you can get a blue chipper here or there.

Agreed. Better actual coaching and a little better recruiting, well a good bit better recruiting.

Basinbear said it somewhere else. The technique is so bad in some places, it's hard to tell what the talent level is. I think the main problem is fundamental coaching (blocking and tackling, route running, coverage skills, etc), followed by the scheme not fitting the skills of those on the team now.
