    Up tempo only works if your offense can stay on the field and move the chains. I also think it plays into the penalty game a bit as players are rushed into getting plays called and the ball snapped quicker. Penalties have killed us this year and I think there is a correlation. The only thing being up tempo does when you run the ball up your center's ___ 30 times a game is get your offense off the field quicker.

    Up tempo is like Calculus. You can't take calculus till you can do Algebra. We are still working on long division. We need to get the basics right before we try derivatives.
