Eli and oline is banged up. Jennings is being choked on his collar by hud. Even if we do win, it's not a blowout

Based on last Wednesday's showing, the only bowl this team will see involves Captain Crunch...

If Buckley was allowed to run the stories he writes, a lot more people would like him.

But, he does write click bait..

This is the kind of team and the kind of season that some schools use to springboard into something great. I've seen it many times. These schools reel off a few wins, beat a P5, and everybody is talking about them the next season.

It CAN be done, if you have the staff to lead the way.
I don't see the defense being better than average. This is a defense that twice...AT HOME...had the throttle pulled back because it was just too easy. Playing well against teams like South Al, Tulane, McNeese, & NMSU is like being at the head of special ed class. It means nothing to me. The defense is still a very large part of the problem. Because the man controlling the defense is still Hud.

We'll kiss my ___ from now on!

Texas State, they're a dead team! Georgia and Georgia Southern, dead! ULM!!!......
A spade is a spade. I'm not going to get my hopes up that Hud magically realizes he is killing this program all for the sake of his ego. Experience with things of that nature make me believe it will continue until he is no longer employed. And god knows how long that will be.

Why should we trust in a coach that sold us on the idea of team first, all coming together, and he cannot fully accept the blame for having a program that is in complete and utter disarray and continues to throw players under the bus by name in the media?

    +1,000

Until Hud realizes he is doing more damage than good trying to save his own azz and job, he needs to throw caution to the wind and come out with a gunslinger's mentality. Like T-Bine said, a long pick is a pre-mature punt. Going for it on 4th down is ballsy and shows that you gave confidence in both your offense and defense. When was the last time we faked a punt? Hell Mark, your stuck here for another $2MM or $3MM - learn to live a little and let your players have fun. Oh yeah, fire Munoz!!!

4-8 is as close to reality as 6-6.

The pivotal game assuming a win against TXST is Idaho. The Cajuns have to beat Idaho at home or GS on the road to get to 6 wins. Lose this week and 6 wins is all but impossible. Win against TxSt and Idaho and I think they could run the table in SB play. Beating Idaho is a must.

Based on what? There is nothing we do well enough to run the table except punt. Granted our punter gets more opportunities than most, but he's really good.

You are probably right. Buckley is taking the fall for Sadvertiser management. But it is what it is.

Based on there only being two good teams in the SBC this year, App and Troy. Everyone else is varying degrees of average to bad. Idaho is a harder game IMHO because they throw it fairly well. IF the Cajuns can manage a win I think the rest of the matchups in SBC play are somewhat more favorable from a defensive standpoint. This team has played like crap, and in spite of that they are a few points away from 4-2.
