What does CajunT think about that? What about the guys that are upgraded to 2 stars only because they signed with a d1 school? This is not an exact science, but to discount the ratings because your class is rated low is naive.

It would take a while for someone to teach you the value system associated with the rankings and how they are derived. Also, these "stars" one gets seem to automatically diminish when someone commits to a UL over a Memphis or even larger BCS school. If you understood how the star system was ranked and supplied to each prospect, you'd understand more fully that this is certainly a flawed system when talking about schools on the lower D-1 level.

Nobody is discounting the rating system, however, you have to understand how it works before you generate an opinion. You seem to look at stars as many do without knowing the situation behind each prospect. It's easy to learn and rate highly recruited guys as they are evaluated since the end of their sophomore years and updated regularly. Guys like what we sometimes sign are often as talented but have less exposure due to a host of reasons thus are evaluated to a much lesser degree.

If you go to Scout, they assign people 1 star even if they sign with a D-1 school. There is a large discrepancy between the various services out there and their rankings, especially at our level.

I think Cajun T knows and has tried to explain how the rankings system works and its flaws. Also, he knows that things change all the time and its nearly impossible to update the prospects and who we offer etc... without doing this as a full time gig. For those of us who are subscribers to his service, we get about as up to date info as possible from him via chats etc..Therefore, much of the info you are looking at is somewhat antiquated and not updated.

Support your local university. Thats all we ask. Without this university, your name sake is nonexistent. Take that for whats its worth. You can bleed pueple and gold if you wanna be associated with a winner if your ego needs a strokin. But for gods sake man, realize that a stronger local university means better business for us all. But for you it sounds like its all I wanna be winner, laughin at people who have less than you kind of guy, so youre a lost cause. We dont accept mediocrity, we are loyal!!! Know what that means, you root for your team regardless if they are mediocre. Youre a sucky fan riverranchman. Im glad u support that purple abomination.

Sounds like the definition of a coward, or lazy fan. Not willing to put in the work, and take the beating that it takes to BUILD a program. Rather, you'll go over to the flagship because they're currently winning. I guess when LSU is "average" again, you'll move on from them as well.
