Recruiting Bash

_ They need to raffle more and auction less. The good stuff at auction always goes to the same 5 or 10 guys. _

Administration has decided signing day should not be a major fund raising event. They want it to be a day of celebration and of saying thank you to the supporters. There will be a change next year however. RCAF members will still get in free while non RCAF members will be charged a nominal fee. Idea there is for your RCAF membership to be more valuable. I suspect the large majority of fans at the function are RCAF members so this probably won't be a big deal.

However, I wish they did some more of the auction items and such...That was fun the first year and you bid on some good gear. It would be an easy way to generate some extra cash for some small ideas or projects. _

Nothing specific. Scott Farmer talked in general and kinda summarized all the upgrades that we've seen in 30 months. No real future or RCAF talk.

I don't know. The first year we were able to bid on some nice items and I haven't been able to open up half the stuff I got in that big apparel bag...

They had NO items whatsoever! Nothing, zilch, zero, zip... I was kinda disappointed too. I like being able to buy a raffle ticket and maybe win something while donating some money.

It could be more of an event. Very disappointed no raffle. We need to collect money every chance we get!
