Recruiting Bash

I am surprised to not see anything about the Recruiting Bash yesterday evening. I checked both tv station websites and there is no video on it. Any pictures to post? Any comments on the number of people, the atmosphere, the recruits, the quality of the presentation, etc.?

Atmosphere was great. Better attendance than last year. Nearly all the chairs were filled and there were a good bit of people standing up too.

Thought the attendance looked about the same.

I have to say that Robert Walker look huge! This guy's arms were enormous. I heard that he has already beat all of Fenroy's RB weightlifting records. He looks like an MJD types....let's hope he plays like him too. We will have a problem at RB this coming season but it won't be a bad problem by any means.

Thanks. I checked The Advertiser on-line Sports which didn't have any pictures. Didn't think to check the Home page. First time I see us referred to as UL Lafayette for sports. There were no names with the pictures. From the way he is described, I assume Rob Walker is #6. Was either tv station there? Nothing is posted on their websites yet.

Walker is #6, Bernard is #39, Lionel Stokes is #4, Jelani Smith is #49, Le'Marcus Gibson is #21.

I think 3 stations were there including KADN I think. Even Parrott was being interviewed.

Yep all stations were there. I think all their sports anchors are in Miami but they still had interviews and coverage.

I hope that this is our problem next year because that was our biggest problem last year in my opinion. I wanted to see what Yobes could do when he was featured, and I got my answer, and it wasn't great. Not saying he played poorly, but it often seemed like he couldn't find the hole and explode. With that said, if Rob Walker, Aaron Spikes, or Streeter come in and find their groove, this offense will become infinitely better with Ladarius Green eating up the middle of the field, and Marlin Miller on the outside.

I say had a great time last night, the food was good the people were great the coaches were excited, it was nice.

I thought the attendance was better than last year and the year before. I think they are doing it better in terms of getting more attendance. However, I wish they did some more of the auction items and such...That was fun the first year and you bid on some good gear. It would be an easy way to generate some extra cash for some small ideas or projects.

They need to raffle more and auction less. The good stuff at auction always goes to the same 5 or 10 guys.
