Well HUD isn't doing his part on those P5 wins.
Rankings are finicky though. Since they fluctuate so much how can you say if you beat a ranked team or not. If you beat them they likely drop and then are no longer ranked. They said bama beat 8 ranked teams last year based on rank at pregame, but then they werent ranked later, so was that an impressive stat? Seems odd football cant figure this out because seems like basketball factors that in
Football has only 12 regular season exams. Baseball has around fifty.
Not the same sport, not the same anything as pitching has so much to do with the success and failure of a team. You need four good ones to have any kind of season.
Your fixation with how unfair P5 rank are is without foundation. Generally P5 teams do not play G5 teams they fear would beat them, and of course almost always at home instead of the road. Still over the course of about 120 games a year that P5 play vs G5 it is not close in scores or wins. Given home teams get a three point gift the typical score is far greater than three when the two play.
Would you be interested in seeing more cost per win calculations? Is it really a win if it takes someone 80 million to barely beat someone who only spent 30?
Imagine if app st had tennesee's budget or s.bama had miss st's or vice versa
Super looking forward to next week's Massey update. Pins and needles.
