He needs the ball in his hands more than a slot receiver gets it. I like the tripple option package idea by BR. 2 series a half come in with a totally different look. Would make opposing defenses have to prepare for 2 teams in one.

Just read option out of the spread would be good enough....throw in a buck sweep and stretch and waggle him out of stretch so he has a run/pass option would be great. With his blazing speed you want him on the edge

Coach I like what your saying except the pass option. I saw 2 scrimmages and he couldn't hit the side of a barn. He should never pass in a college game. I saw one drive, when 3's were going in a situational scrimmage and they were working on passing, the coaches got frustrated and put in Gunner who threw it right down the field for a score.

Agree with you but I'd like zone read give, keep or pitch. 3 is better than 2.

Most fan bases love the backup QB. Not us. We love the 4th string QB. Hopefully Jennings will play well this week.

You've got to have a little something in there to keep them honest....a Waggle pass/run option usually involves a simple two man route on backside and because it's a roll out it puts him out of the pocket on the edge so it gives him the option to run...heck, I wish we did more of that, period.

We actually love the fourth string QB in an alternate position or specialty plays.

Yes but that would mean the offense coaches have imagination.

I believe we are the only spread offense team that doesn't use a Run/pass option.

I'm afraid we're worse than that. We have some people that want Jennings, some Nixon, some Davis, some Ray... some may even want to see Hudspeth. And then some believe others would still want Haack if he were here. Losing does that to fans.
