A lot of those points in the last two games came from overtime, but then again we weren't exactly facing the 1999 Rams either.

The defense is not why we are 2-3.

The last two games we have given up 16 and 17 points on defense in regulation. Those two losses are on the offense and play calling.

Would they be the primary cause if we were 4-1? Both Tulane and NMSU should have both been won by us in regulation and lost by us in regulation. To me it's 50/50 on blame...because both are products of Hud...not the patsies who are "calling" plays.

The article said they've improved, which they have. Not that they were some steel curtain.

We kicked 3 FGs against tulane, pretty sure 2 were in the red zone. One TD and the game is over. That's on the offense.

NMSU we throw a pick 6. That's on the offense.

And that only points out the abject failures. There were numerous opportunities to adjust and stay in the offensive football chess match. Our offense always bangs the checkers a little harder on the board when the game gets tight.

Regulation is the only legit way to look at this.
